This center offers the following to families:

Developmental

evaluations

Have you wondered whether your child should be speaking more? Or wondered whether you child's tantrums might be more than just "terrible twos"? Or been concerned that your child is not playing with you as much as you expected? Are you getting phone calls from your child's preschool expressing concerns about your child's behaviors? Are you concerned about your child's development?

A developmental assessment can help with assessing a child's current cognitive, language, and motor skills, examine factors that might be impeding his or her best performance at school, or assess for behavioral or developmental disorders.

Neuropsychological

evaluations

Is your child struggling in school or having difficulty with test taking? Does homework time take FOREVER? Does it seem like your child is underperforming?

Neuropsychological assessments can help determine your child's strengths and weaknesses and make recommendations to build upon your child's strengths to address weaknesses. Neuropsychological assessments can assess for a variety of factors that may be impacting your child's functioning in home and school settings, such as:

  • Anxiety Disorders
  • Attention-Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder
  • Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • Graphomotor Difficulties
  • Language Disorders
  • Learning and Memory
  • Learning Disorders (e.g., math, reading)
  • Nonverbal Learning Disorders
